PHPP

CanPHI is the only Canadian distributor of the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) design software, developed and licensed by the Passivhaus Institute in Germany.

The PHPP is the world’s most accurate and verified software package for the design of ultra-low energy buildings, and it is now used worldwide by architects, engineers, builders and planners who wish to design truly sustainable buildings. It runs on Microsoft Excel.

The current (2007) version of PHPP allows modeling and prediction of summer cooling loads, and contains limited weather data for 20 Canadian cities. More complete PHPP weather data for 52 Canadian locations is available free to CanPHI members, or can be purchased for individual locations by non-Members by visiting our PayPal page.
